Thank You Farm

My wife’s farm is located in central Taiwan. It consists of two greenhouses that are roughly each the size of a football field. Inside each greenhouse are thirty something rows of tomatoes, cucumbers and leafy green vegetables. Containers of onions, herbs and other plants are tucked here and there. The plants are fed and watered through an elaborate irrigation system. There’s also an open field currently planted with pumpkins.

Peiling's family name is Hsieh. Peiling + Alicia = 2 Hsiehs. Hsieh-hsieh is Chinese for thank you. Thus, the Chinese name of the farm is Thank You Farm. I gave the farm it's English name of Grateful Growers.
